Love the way the indoor and outdoors also have good food. Looking forward to a great time
This is officially a 5-star stop, Cincinnati. I had the chance to go back to Cali for its 5-year Anniversary, and it was everything. The owner, Boss Man, made sure to take care of his customers the way they've taken care of him for the past five years, and I must say...the community must treat this brother well! He and Lady Mercy didn't miss a trick: decorated tables with centerpieces, signature drinks, balloon sprays, a soundtrack right out of your 35+ childhood (more like 45+, but I'm not mad at walking in on a club playing some Luther), heated seating outside, AND free food fresh from the grill out back. I mean, damn. In the midst of all this grandeur (at a neighborhood bar, no less!), the staff STILL managed to give some crazy-good service. Nikki remembered my name, remembered my drink, and even came to get me out back when a table opened up inside. What's that? You're serving up dranks AND dope customer service? I'm a fan of her Maker's Lemonade, it's truly addictive. Nikki and Rina somehow manage to hold it DOWN behind and in front of the bar. Kudos to those ladies, and a prime example of why you tip your waitstaff. There were literally a hundred people in the place at one point, and these ladies weren't phased. Finally, the food. THE FOOD! Check out the pictures of the watermelon swan and other beautiful nibbles! Chef was on his game back on the grill from the minute we walked in, and it was clear they'd been at it for HOURS to get everything just right. This spot just keeps getting better for this reviewer.
